Royal Oak has everything that makes summer fun. For art, food and the Royal Oak street scene, look no further than the Clay, Glass & Metal Festival Saturday and Sunday, June 13 and 14. Shop for jewelry, gifts, decorative art and architectural pieces with 125 artists while kids express themselves at the Creative Arts Studio tent located at 5th & Washington Ave. Royal Oak’s favorite restaurants will provide food and beverage on Fifth Street this year. The event gets underway on Friday, June 12 on Fifth St. from 5 - Midnight with food, music and beverages. On Fifth Street food and music will run from 10 am – 12 Midnight on Saturday and on Sunday from 11 am – 5 pm. Artists’ tents will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 pm Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm Sunday.
