Learn what it means to be WBENC certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). If you have a product or service that you would like to market to American corporations, here is your chance to explore certification.
Veronica Johnson is the Director of Certification for the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council. She came to the organization in 2007 and began as a Certification Assistant. Since then, Great Lakes WBC has seen an increase of over 800 certified women owned businesses. There are currently 1,450 certified women business enterprises representing $ 12.3 billion in annual revenue and 48,500 U.S. workers.
Veronica is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the certification process, program growth and staff, along with managing certification review committee meetings and representing Great Lakes WBC in the community.
