The changing environment of communication and storytelling is impacting how companies reach key audiences
Royal Oak, Mich., Nov. 11, 2020 - Siren, a strategic communication firm in metro Detroit who strengthens companies and nonprofits through clear, powerful communication, announced today an agency-wide rebrand to its visual identity, purpose and value. Formerly known as Siren PR, the agency made the strategic decision to drop “PR” from its name to more effectively communicate its offerings and approach related to integrated communication and marketing strategies, and to better serve their expanding roster of clients.
“Siren is in the business of communication, and through this rebrand, we’re taking our years of experience and applying it to the powerful business strategy no one is talking about: strategic and clear communication,” said Lindsey Walenga, CEO of Siren. “Over the years, traditional public relations, and the communication landscape have changed, and we are evolving and innovating to meet those demands. Anyone can write content and put it out there, but the key to making sure it resonates is deeply understanding your audience and what they need, and then integrating all your communication efforts into one cohesive plan. This evidence-based truth has driven Siren’s evolution beyond public relations to strategic communication.”
To coincide with the rebrand, Siren launched its new website (sirenstrategy.co), which conveys its greatest value proposition: strategic communication, followed by their core service areas: media relations and training, communication strategy, crisis communication, social media content and engagement, brand messaging, integrated marketing, storytelling and creative content and executive branding. Before activating a core service on behalf of clients, Siren will implement a strategic communication plan to determine the most impactful channel for clients to tell their story and reach audiences.
Siren recently became the agency of record for the following companies: Alliance Title of Michigan, a tech-savvy title company, Bateel USA, the grower and purveyor of gourmet dates, Data Driven Detroit, a social enterprise that provides accessible, high-quality information and analysis, Racquet Up Detroit, a nonprofit offering youth an inspiring new path to education and opportunity, the Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority and Wightman, a Michigan-based architecture firm.
The agency’s full client roster includes: Cranbrook Institute of Science, Cohen & Company, an accounting and consulting firm, ElementOne, a strategic compensation firm, Inforum, a nonprofit accelerating career opportunities for women, Innovate Marquette SmartZone, an economic development organization, iwerk, a solutions-based tech firm geared for businesses, and Northern Michigan University.
“We fuel business growth and bring fresh ideas to help clients engage with, and reach new and wider audiences through powerful strategic communication,” continued Walenga. “The innovative leaders we work with understand that clear and frequent communication with their most important audiences is critical to business success.”
