Metro Detroit Stroll for Epilepsy

The Stroll for Epilepsy™ is an inspirational event that unites the epilepsy community, as we come together to fight stigma, SUDEP, misdiagnosis, treatment gaps, loss of employment, discrimination, isolation, and so much more. While it is our hope to gather in person for the 2021 Stroll season, we acknowledge the uncertainty surrounding that possibility. We are approaching this year with the guarantee of providing a Virtual Stroll experience, while also working towards an In-Person Stroll. No matter what, the Stroll still remains the Foundation’s largest fundraising event, so your support is vital to our mission—we are counting on you! Your fundraising efforts for the Stroll benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan—supporting initiatives on a local level, while increasing much needed epilepsy awareness throughout the state. Because of your support, we are able to train school personnel about seizure first aid, host educational conferences, provide guidance and understanding to individuals affected by epilepsy through our Here for You Helpline, to name a few. Whether we're together virtually or in person, we truly can't do it without you, and we look forward to connecting with you during the 2021 Stroll Season!
