Royal Oak, MI — Baker College launches a One-Year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, an innovative graduate offering designed for working professionals seeking a faster, more flexible path to career advancement. Beginning August 2025, this new format delivers the same rigorous education as Baker’s traditional MBA programs—but on a schedule that supports today’s fast-paced, professional lifestyles.

With an accelerated 4-week course format, students can complete their MBA in just one year, allowing them to gain in-demand skills and credentials in record time.

“Our new 4-week graduate course format is designed to meet the needs of today’s busy professionals,” said Dr. Na Li, Dean, College of Business - Graduate Programs. “By accelerating the learning experience while maintaining academic rigor, we empower our students to achieve their academic goals without putting their careers on hold.”

    Program Highlights include:
    • Focused 4-week courses taken one at a time
    • Flexible, 100% online scheduling with frequent start dates
    • An engaging, fast-paced curriculum designed for better retention
    • Option to switch to the traditional online MBA format for added flexibility
    • Affordable tuition to help students advance their careers without having excessive debt

Transfer students are welcome and may bring in up to 9 graduate-level credits from another institution, making the One-Year MBA even more accessible for those who have already begun their graduate business education elsewhere.

“Applications are now being accepted for the August 2025 start, and getting started is simple,” said Amanda Keeton, Director of Online Graduate Admissions. “From submitting an application application to the first day of class, my team and I are committed to guiding each student so they feel confident, supported, and ready to excel in our accelerated program.”
